Longtime CBC journalist, Paddy Gregg passes away #cbc

Paddy Gregg, a longtime CBC journalist who covered stories around the world
passed away yesterday at the age of 80. 

Gregg's obituary says he died in a Fredericton hospital after a long period of failing health.
Gregg grew up in Fredericton and got his start in journalism in 1952 at the Fredericton Gleaner.
Later in the 1950s, he started working for the CBC. 

He was one of the first national television reporters at the CBC and worked across Canada, but also went on to cover stories for the network in Hong Kong and Saigon during the Vietnam War.
